Today my son Patrick is coming into the office to get in his required work time to pay off his phone bill. I’m sure this trade off or something very similar plays out in your family when it comes to kids and a family owned business or “chores”. He is likely going to be taking a lot of pictures today to help me process 5 binders of CSPs that are ready to roll.
The Jamboree wave continues although when it crests nobody knows. I anticipate this being an unusual cycle as the WJ stuff is also just now hitting the category in large numbers. For my part I don’t have a toe in the stuff from Korea but I still have over 300 listings from the 2023 National Jamboree available.
I have begun to adjust the auction schedule on my accounts so that Tuesday is the big night for SanteeswapperStore. Tonight I have 3-dozen vintage neckerchiefs including camps, OA, pilgrimage and more ending at auction.
Over on Santeeswapper I have 138 live auctions this week featuring camp patches and World Scout Jamboree stuff. The goal is to get where across all three accounts I am listing 100+ items per day whether they be fixed price or auction. On OApatch I have 160 live auctions including flaps, conclaves, chenilles and more.
