Making a Fortune on Fake Eagle Scout Rings

 

I know if you are a regular watcher on eBay then you’ve seen eBay seller ajs-shop out of Germany selling “original” Scouting rings. Its pretty clear to everyone that these are knock offs made by this company (or outsourced) and are a total rip off on the BSA brand. I’m pretty sure they even make an OA Vigil ring recently. Despite all this the rings typically sell for more than $50 with multiple bids. Has anybody bought any of these rings? Don’t get me wrong – some of their look pretty but I couldn’t wear something that was obviously an overseas fake. Here is an example to see what I’m talking about.

Those that don’t know buy them because they look great. Those that do know buy them because they have to have everything in their collection.

he,at least, does not say or even imply that they are “official” … not like some of the patch sellers i run across…
