$25K Lantern

Currently on eBay – buy it now for $25,000! Anyone know about this kind of item. Not necessarily a Big Jim candidate but could be…

I tried to get a price for shipping. It wouldn’t give me one. I probably don’t live in an expensive enough neigherhood. We could say it is demeaning to have a image of a Scout holding a lantern in our front yard.

Here’s what you get for $25K…

“Boy Scout with Lantern, came out of Estate, priced to sell…”

Nice! Wish I could buy two and have a matching set.

considering that it’s over five feet tall, and solid bronze.. . it’s got to be worth a *few* bucks… besides… when’s the last time you saw a boy scout lawn jockey??

Think of all of the holes you can fill in your patch collection for $25,000. Oh Yes! you can make a lower offer. I wonder if they will accept $5.00??? Hum probably still couldn’t afford the shipping. The people in my condo probably wouldn’t like it at the entrance any way. AH SHUCKS!!!

This guy is persistant. Just relisted at the same offering price. I suppose you don’t get if you don’t ask. There has to be a driveway somewhere that is missing that finished crib decor touch. Personally, I am looking for my next $25 to play with.

well.. i *really* would consider it.. but i don’t have a driveway– don’t have a yard– live in a one-room apartment (that’s one room, not one bedroom, btw)… so really have no place to put it…

besides, like ‘thebar’ i’m trying to figure out where my next $25 is coming from…. not a good economy right now for a freelancer!!
