You may not have noticed but is you sit on our side of the table the change to only allowing GTC listings for fixed price is a big shift. Brad had been using an interesting strategy to rotate the inventory in his store. Now this change will make it much more of a challenge to manually play that dance to save on fees.
One of the ways these recent eBay changes caught me by surprise. I discovered that even after something sold in my store that the listing seemed to remain alive. These zombie listings in a collectibles category are not helpful because I’d get messages from buyers asking when I would have something available or why couldn’t they push a button to buy this item. The problem with this go much deeper as I explain in the episode.
It looks like I’m about to get some help with the Charlotte TOR. One of our leaders is putting a piece on his Wood Badge ticket to do a bunch of local promotion and help organize and run the scavenger hunt that the Scouts will participate in.
As the month continues I’m closing out a run of 800 CSPs that I’m posting to my eBay store using 7-day auctions. Once these close I’ll just roll the unsold issues into the store. I’m building new auctions now to run when these close.
Today I’m leaving work early to go bust Sophia out of school. We are going to walk over the arena at UNC-Charlotte and catch my USC Lady Gamecocks playing their first game in the NCAA tournament. I don’t know how we got so lucky to have them playing literally where my daughter goes to early college but we are going.
