Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter February 25, 2018

I had a good time at the Eastern VA TOR this weekend in Norfolk. This is a selfie shot with Shaun Woolmer. One of the big reasons I am trying to attend more TORs is to go see the brotherhood of the cloth. There were several other folks I met that read the Hot Finds or I know through Facebook. This was my first time getting to this show at the new location and it was very nice. John and Mike are great hosts. I am not getting on the road in March in anticipation of hosting my own show on April 6-7 in Charlotte, NC.

There were 6 TORs going on around the country this weekend. On Facebook I saw pictures from several of them. I did participate and win an item in the Wiatava lodge auction. They allowed you to email in bids and they had a proxy bidder that would do so on your behalf. When that item arrives I’ll share it in a post.

I picked up some more table reservations for the Charlotte TOR this weekend. That puts us at 70% full with 87 tables spoken for so far. It’s ironic how many people I’ve talked to have a friend in the Charlotte area they plan to stay with during the TOR. I’m also going to poll the audience and find out which hotel seems to be the most popular among the ones I’ve suggested.
