Boy Scout Memorabilia Collection Unboxing 1940s Eagle Scout and Explorer Ranger Award

For about a decade I have been heavily collecting memorabilia dedicated to the Senior Scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America. Those items include the original Explorer program along with Air Scouts (1940s) and all the subsequent versions that were aimed to serve older Scouts ages 14+. So as I buy collections from people I sometimes stumble upon the exact stuff that is the focus of my own personal collections.

I purchased this collection from the grandson of a Scout who was active in the late 1940s in Illinois. He worked his way through earning the rank of Eagle Scout. But he also joined the Explorer program when he was old enough and achieved one of the most difficult awards of that time period – the Explorer Ranger award. This iconic award was brought back by the BSA when they formed Venturing in 1998.

For those of you that really enjoy the content of my channel I invite you to consider becoming part of my Patreon Group called the Scouting Hot Finds Insiders. In this group I post more unboxing videos (currently bi-weekly) and share more behind the scenes information about what I’m doing as a Scouting memorabilia collector. You can find out more at www.scoutinghotfinds.com.
