Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter April 25, 2025
For the 2nd time on my YouTube channel I published a video featuring a Bill Chadek unboxing. Bill is a Scouter who lives in Nebraska that is a very good craftsman when it comes to restoring tools. In this case he takes 1/2 dozen vintage BSA hand axes and makes them shine. The transformation is incredible.
Today I am driving down to Camp Knox in Georgia for the E7 conclave formerly called the Dixie Fellowship. The weather is looking excellent and I am sure our hosts in Bob White Lodge will put on a good event. I look forward to trading some cloth under the tent and spending time with many friends.
On eBay I have 203 live auctions featuring SAPs and OA flaps and issues. Many of these are scheduled to end Sunday so definitely take a look.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
