This is a pivot week for me. As I finish packing away the kitchen sink (and maybe the bathroom sink too) that I took to the Charlotte TOR I’ve got to turn my focus to new projects. That starts today with a major clean up effort in the patch cave and then getting some fresh auctions listed on eBay.
Have you been able to buy out some events in your lodge box real cheap. Would you like to turn those dupes into fresh new trade stock from around the country? Get in on my Blind OA Activity Patch Trade and shake up your dupes.
April is an incredible month for patch traders in the Carolinas. We have back-to-back events with the Cardinal Conclave and the Dixie Fellowship at the end of the month. For several years running the SR-7B Cardinal Conclave has been the largest event in the nation with around 1400 Arrowmen turning out. The Dixie is probably around 1000 so that’s a lot of hands to shake over the patch trading blankets.
I have an episode of the podcast ready to publish tomorrow! This is an interview with Nick Wolf on his Top 10 tips for patch trading at the National Jamboree. The Patch King has been a frequent guest on my show and I think you’ll enjoy his take on this Top 10 idea.
For those of you wondering where are all the pictures of the Charlotte TOR I confess I didn’t take any. However, I did think ahead and set up a time-lapse camera shoot on the stage. I’ll turn that into a video and post it later this week. However, on Facebook I’ve seen other folks posting pictures of their haul from the event and that’s been fun to see.
