Home from the Alabama TOR and ready to quickly switch gears and celebrate Mother’s Day with my family. The fact that my wife even let me go to the TOR over this special weekend tells you how lucky I am.
The TOR was a success with 100 tables of Scouting memorabilia, silent auctions and lots of fellowship. I got to talk to collectors from the southeast and even a few visitors from as far away as Texas and Ohio. Several folks said they get this newsletter and I always enjoy putting a name with a face at shows.
For me the next TOR will be after camp in August at Camp Durant for the Occoneechee TOR. Then a month later I will host the Charlotte TOR at my church. I hope you will consider making plans to come to both – you can find details about them on my website.
On eBay tonight I have over 100 auctions ending on vintage OA including some really good flaps!. A few of these have caught some bids and are going to finish strong.
In trying to help promote TORs let me make the same offer that John Hall used to help get the word out about the Alabama show. I will jump on a 5 minute call with any TOR sponsor and turn that into a promotional video on my YouTube channel. I can’t think of why 5 minutes of your time would not be worth it since it can only help get more people in the door. Send me an email if I can help.
