Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter May 19, 2024
Tonight on eBay there are many auctions to watch. By clicking through the Hot Finds you can find some of the ones that have drawn the most interest from fellow collectors.
On a normal walk in the neighborhood recently I found a perfect summer employee to help get projects moving at the warehouse. We ran into our son’s 8th grade science teacher who indicated she was going to look for summer work. After a brief explanation of what I do she signed right up. It will be really helpful to have someone that can cover as everyone is going on vacations here and there.
My daughter Sophia is flying out Friday to make her way to Philmont for the summer. But before then she is getting her wisdom teeth taken out tomorrow. Dad will be her nurse for the day on this one.
I have 223 live auctions on eBay right now with about 1/2 of thos ending tonight. As you can see in this block the vast majority of those are Neckerchiefs from OA lodges and camps.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
