Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter May 4, 2025
The unboxing palooza in the back of the warehouse is finally finished. Friday, I stayed late to get the last bit of items sorted into tubs. Now all that’s left is to clean up and decide what will be our first project for the month of May.
I did film a video on the big sort that I’ll be releasing in Patreon next week. It’s that kind of inside the warehouse content that fits fellow collectors who are curious to see some of the back story with commentary.
I can report that very few home run items came out of the sort. Usually when I get something really unique I jump right on it and let it skip the line. A lot of this stuff was the bread and butter small box collections that I am buying from the Scouts that attended the events and earned these patches.
On eBay I have 225 live auctions with 75 of those ending tonight. I am also running a new sale in my eBay store on higher priced items at 19% off.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
