So yesterday I dumped out a large Rubbermaid tote full of stuff that hasn’t seen daylight since I moved last summer. I did a quick sort and started making scans of stuff that I could then throw up on the Facebook group. At the end of the project I had about 100 scans ready to go.
Now mind you this has been my strategy all along for tackling these totes. Transform that unsorted stuff into Facebook offers that could be another side stream of business. The frustration comes down to the time delayed messaging back and forth between potential buyer. For example it looks like I sold a camporee patch last night for about $7 and this morning have two more people interested in the same patch.
Normally this is the type of challenge I enjoy because I’ve always liked trying to play with new strategies. The pinch point is there is no buy-it-now button that you can embed into the post. In a way that’s kinda that magic of just throwing pictures up there that have a bunch of patches but it’s also the bottleneck that makes it a huge time suck.
I’ve got a few more tweeks to try out Wednesday as I’m trying to make today a Sabbath day for social media for the most part. Can you invent a BIN button for a Facebook post? I’ve got an idea that may or may not work.
