1950 Boy Scout Jamboree Collection Unboxing
He saved everything! I’m not kidding when you see what this Scout from Cicero Illinois held on to for about 75 years you will be amazed. Every scrap of paper from his trip to the 2nd National Scout Jamboree held in Valley Forge, PA in 1950 to his trip with Chicago Scouts out west to Philmont Scout Ranch. It’s pretty rare for me to get so much ephemera from his luggage tags to the patrol menus that he saved….WOW.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
