Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter August 23, 2024
It’s time to look ahead to the TOR calendar and figure out which shows we can all attend this year. I have updated a 1-page flyer to help promote ALL the shows across the country. This flyer gets mailed out in all of my eBay orders. I’m about to print 1,000 of these to last for the next month and want to put it out there now to get any corrections back from the readers.
All this week I have been heavily focused on listing. Luckily my son also needed to get some work hours in so he did a good bit of photography for me. I’ve got my listing schedule built back up to meet my goal. Going forward the store will have 50 new listings each day with a mix of auctions and fixed priced. On Sunday’s I will have way more auctions including some high dollar items.
This week I have 87 live auctions on eBay featuring a lot of vintage camp patches. In September my focus will be camp and OA patches.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
