Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter August 30, 2024
This morning I updated my TOR Calendar on the website to reflect all the flyers and shows that I’m aware of. I have emails out to some of the fall and spring TOR contacts that I can’t find a flyer for. You can also pull up the latest version of my 1-page flyer. I ordered 3k copies and should have them in soon to begin distributing to eBay orders.
It’s interesting to look at the TOR calendar and see which states have the most shows. Can you guess off the top of your head? Some states have none, some have only one and some have as many as four in a year. It’s hard to grow a first time show but I hope the ones we do have can grow with more publicity.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
