I heard from Nick Wolf that he expects to get in his patch trading blankets from the supplier overseas this week. I think these might be popular at next years Jamboree and when I get one in I’ll post pictures. I think it’s great when people in the hobby develop products to feed our addiction and passion.

Over on Facebook there was an interesting conversation about private issued staff patches such as the Trucking Staff pictured below. For years at the Jamboree this was a wildly out of control situation where every little staff group printed up jacket patches and ghost patches so they would have material to trade. That didn’t seem as bad in recent years and hopefully it’s a little more under control now.

Now that August is here I’m diving into boxes and getting new stuff listed in my sales channels. When I returned home from vacation I had two packages waiting with some small collections that I’m sorting today.

All the downsizing must have been working in my eBay store this summer because I’ve got less than 7,000 items still alive on the store. If I can buckle down over the next few weeks I’ll start to turn the dial in the other direction. You can always find my eBay store linked in at the url www.Patchblanket.com.
