How Scoring An Awesome eBay Boy Scout OA Vigil Sash Auction Win Helped Me Fulfill My Mission
Over the course of weeks in a resellers Book Club (shout out Libby!) I wrote the Mission for my 20+ year old business that was sparked by my boyhood passion for collecting Scouting memorabilia. Our mission is to preserve Scouting history and memories by recycling memorabilia back into the movement and embracing new Scout patch collectors. We aim to grow the Scout collecting community by sharing knowledge, displaying memorabilia, and promoting patch collecting to Scouts of all ages.
In this video I explain how this Mission was exemplified by the selfless act of a fellow Scout collector by the name of Marcus Bailey. Everything that my mission statement entails was part of this story and helps explain what it means to me.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
