I’m glad I took a picture of the lighthouse at Fort Williams outside Portland, Maine. After a 2-day journey to get home that covered over 15+ hours I’m not sure when I’ll get back up that way. Today we push off for a more familiar holiday destination to Edisto Beach, SC. Then Thursday I beat it back to Charlotte to grab my stuff and set sail for NOAC.
This morning my wife is going to let me run to the warehouse for a quick grab and go visit. I’m really not packed for NOAC and won’t have much time to do so Thursday PM but after playing Boy Scouts all summer I’m following orders at this point.
If you need some Best Hobby Pages there is less than a week to go on my offer to hand deliver your order to the Pre-NOAC TOR and skip the postage charge. The discount code is PickUp. I need all orders in by noon on Thursday July 26th in order for me to package them and deliver to the TOR. Of course I’ll have BHP at the event as well if you forget but this way is easier for everyone.
Brad England and I are rooming together at NOAC and will be throwing sticky notes on a wall coming up with ideas for Thread Heads (video chat show) and the podcast I’ve been doing for years. If you have any suggestions for people to interview or topics please shoot me an email or Brad.
I am not bringing the kitchen sink to the TOR which is one reason why I am running an 18% off sale in my store at www.ScoutPatchHQ.com. So if there is anything you are interested in purchasing (with free shipping!) use discount code 18off which is good through the end of Monday.
Now that she has a summer under her belt as a C.I.T. my daughter Sophia will be coming along on the NOAC trip. She will be helping me count Best Hobby Pages orders and will trade some patches on the grass at Indiana U. I’m pretty sure she doesn’t get patch trading but after a week to try it maybe she will catch the bug.
