OA Flaps In “Huge” Lots
The mixed lots in this blog post are worth talking about. At first you might suspect that the same sellers had these two listed. Its not often you see the words “huge” used in a Boy Scout auction title. However, these were indeed by two different sellers. I wrote a little bit about the #2 lot that got 19 bids in the Hot Finds. I knew that with a Lodge 104 S1 and some other good pieces in there it was bound to do well. I think finishing at $500+ qualifies as a good day. I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
