Almost two years ago I posted on Facebook about an odd patch I had received in a collection from Texas. Thanks to Warren Kuhfeld I have the thread in the Scout Patch Collectors FB Group (sorry if you are not a member it won’t let you read it!). This Jacket Patch might have been issued for the Dance Team but that is just going off someone’s recollection from over 60 years ago.
On another note I’ve started putting out feelers locally to try and find a mom that can come help me take pictures and building listings. I had two different ladies (including my postal carrier!) who would come maybe 1/week to help move things along. But Frances has moved to TN and Angela is homeschooling this year. So I find myself with mountains of inventory and not enough help. But it’s tricky finding someone reliable so I don’t want to just post on Nextdoor and get the crazies to come out.
I made it through the whole money of September listing over 3000 new items in my stores. Keeping up that kinda pace while short-handed is not sustainable. Luckily the eBay growth advisor that I met with in Atlanta gave me some solid advice on what I need to do over the next three months. So Q4 (starts today!) will be one of moving things around in my business to make sure that all the changes are in place before the calendar rolls to 2024.
On Santeeswapper I have 226 live auctions including many big hitters that are ending tonight. The Nishkin 489 undocumented jacket flap is among those.
