Professional Scouter Collection 1936 – 1963

I’ve been very interested in a particular collection that is selling on eBay right now. The collection belonged to Joe L. Ballenger who at one time in the 1930s was a professional in my home council in South Carolina. He also served councils in GA, FL, and finished his career in OH. His great-nephew is now selling off the collection and there are some wonderful items from old Region 6. The first round of these items ended this week (Dec. 9th) and if this is any indication of the quality of stuff in the collection I’ll be watching this seller for some time. I’ve picked out the best selling items including what could be a record breaking value for a camp patch.
