Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter December 6, 2015
I have to give credit to the ISCA website and to OAimages for helping me pull the information together. I was able to read online copies of the Journal to see which lodges have recently merged and with a little fact checking on Facebook I think I’ve got a pretty accurate listing.
I do have a collection of old conclave patches but it’s not one that I’m actively adding to. I was a Section Chief so I’m pretty sentimental about conclaves and to me rather than collecting individual lodges from other parts of the nation that is a fun collection I can toy with that kinda represents them all.
If you haven’t noticed there are quite a few knives in this issue of the Hot Finds. That is not one of my collecting interests but I know there are plenty of knife collectors out there.
Over the holidays when I have a break from school my hope is to spend some time adding items to my eBay store. At one time I was over 10,000 items but thanks to some helpful sales I’m down below 9k at the moment.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
