The Best Handbooks I Never Saw
In order to make the cut auctions have to have at least 1 bid to get placed in the Hot Finds. For that reason sometimes really good items don’t get spotlighted in the newsletter because they don’t get bids until the very end. In researching closed auctions I stumbled upon these rare Scout handbooks that were sold by TSPA. I did have the Waldforf edition featured prominently but many of these other listings slipped through and this is the first time I’ve seen them.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
