Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter November 28, 2021
Just about every day this weekend has some made up name for marketing purposes. That extends into Monday when we are supposed to shop online as if that doesn’t happen every day of the week now. But I went for it and have hundreds of auctions ending over the next two days trying to catch some of the action too.
Well all my effort to get the antique mall booth ready for this opening month in the new location has paid off. As of Saturday night I’ve more than doubled my best month of sales ever. Considering I have a $4k car repair bill coming due this week I’ll need all that and more!
I had considered trying to go to a TOR next weekend but I am not going to make the drive. My van is the vehicle that is down and I don’t know if it will be ready by Friday or not. Instead I’ve negotiated with my wife to let me spend some extra time working in the warehouse. Instead of spending 10-12 hours driving she is going to let me spend Friday night and Saturday working on some projects. One of those is sorting my merit badge and Eagle medal collection.
I have over
100 auctions ending tonight on OA slides, buckles, bullions, neckerchiefs and more. Many of these are hand picked items I decided to run during the holiday weekend. I hope you will take a look at my store.
Well Saturday I was able to spend a lot of time at my warehouse. I got two shelves totally cleared to make way for more live inventory. I did a lot of rearranging and even started my project card board. All together it was a terrific success if not for the dumpster fire that my Gamecocks displayed on offense versus our rivals from the upstate.
