This week I got back in the rhythm of publishing a weekly episode of Scouting Hot Finds Live. This week it was an unboxing of a small collection from a Scout who attended the 1929 World Jamboree. This guy grew up in the Norwela Council of Louisiana and was one of four boys from the council to attend that event.
As you will see in the video it appears that the merit badge patches are all squares that have been folded under. I don’t have any plans to strip the sash but I think it does make it a much more valuable piece and with 42 merit badges on there some are winners.
On eBay this week I have 157 live auctions running. The majority of these continue to be 1950s-60s event patches. But I also shake it up with some Jamboree and Philmont pieces.
