I only have 4 boxes left to be completely caught up on the backlog of unboxing collections from before the summer. I have been filming many of these and you can look forward to some fresh videos coming this fall to share the thrill of the chase. Some of the items I’ve pulled out have been shared quickly on Facebook to find a new home. I’ve enjoyed these quick flips on the Scout Patch Collectors.
Yesterday I pulled out a 1988 Philmont leather belt from the 50th anniversary. It was claimed on Facebook by a guy who hiked Philmont for the first time that summer and has been looking for that belt for some time. That’s the kinda reunion I love to hear. I also stirred up some drama in the group when I posted an undocumented flap from Mide #15 that some wanted to dismiss as a “bleach job”.
On Santeeswapper I have 88 live auctions running on SAPs and flaps. The consequence of tackling the unboxing project has been letting my daily listing goal slip. But I get back to that very soon once I get some of the mess cleaned up and sorted out a little bit here in the warehouse.
