Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter October 4, 2024
Thanks to some of you that reached out to ask about my daughter who attends a small college near Asheville NC. Monday and Tuesday we hosted 4 of her friends that had come down off the mountain. Then dad got smart and booked them three nights at Edisto Beach State Park and they have been enjoying a camping trip south of Charleston since then.
We are awaiting an announcement from the school today…but we are pretty sure it will say classes will be online only for the rest of the fall semester. The cleanup and recovery in the NC mountains will be slow and disruptive. It’s going to be a long recovery for Asheville and the surrounding areas.
On eBay I have 139 live auctions running. Many of these are SAPs, camp patches and OA. I try and have a mix of items each week. You can also catch the 19% discount sale i am running in my eBay Store.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
