I’m heading to Camp Barstow this weekend to attend the Muscogee Lodge Fall Fellowship. I’m looking forward to seeing old friends. We have quite a bit of clean up work to do at camp with downed limbs and some trees. But luckily our VP of Properties Bill Eiselle has kept us way ahead of the curve on taking down compromised trees. So we didn’t have much damage to buildings from Helene.
Today I’m going to unbox a collection with an Apple Bag in it from the 1985 Jamboree. I went in 1989 so to me it was always the cool kids that had that iconic Apple Bag that was handed out the same year the Beach Boys performed at Ft. AP Hill. So this weekend I might convert that one to a patch trading briefcase of sorts and go throwback.
We have quite a cadre of young collectors in the lodge and many of them carry an old fashioned briefcase just like I did back in the day. In fact I am bringing another briefcase I got in a recent collection with hopes that I can find a young collector ready to join the club.
On eBay I have 138 live auctions on camp patches, OA and more. Meanwhile in the back of the warehouse I am cleaning up from the big sorting project. My Patreon Group members will get to see an Inside the Warehouse video today where I’ll show them the end of my monster sorting project. You can join the Patreon Group TODAY at the free level and I will try and share some content with everyone even though I keep the best content for the paid members.
