Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter October 11, 2024
This morning I have a brand new unboxing going out that features a nice pre-WWII Eagle Scout collection. What I like about this one is that the family has it completely intact with the cards, sash etc. It’s also nice because unlike many collections I get this gentlemen got reengaged later as an adult and worked so hard his council awarded him the Silver Beaver.
This is the last day of a 41% off sale that I’m running in my store. This is a clearance sale on some stuff that I’ve had on the shelf too long. It includes OA as well as Jamboree and CSPs.
On eBay this weekend I have 139 live auctions running including lots of camp and OA pieces. The picture above was taken after all the colections were unboxed and put away. Basically this was my hallelujah photo after weeks and weeks of boxes and piles everywhere.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
