Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter November 22, 2024
When these three boxes arrived from New Mexico I didn’t really know what I was going to find. I knew some of the background from speaking to the family but had no idea I would find an absolute display piece jewel in this collection.
I have been collecting Air Scout and other Senior Scouting items for going on a decade. This is the first time I have ever come upon a sash “in the wild” that has all four of the blue merit badges on them. For someone that really wants to display their collection this was an absolute treasure find!
On eBay this week I have 140 live auctions including some really old camp patches and good OA. These are some of the best items from collections I have sorted during the last few months and I am excited to see the interest in them.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
