Tuesday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter February 18, 2020

As planned Saturday I did make a 9 hour round trip to go pick up a nice collection. This is a collection from a family I’ve been working with for some time so it’s tying up loose ends and closing out a consignment. I don’t have an estimate on when I’ll be getting that collection back out for sale as I’m less than 2 weeks away from getting the keys to my new warehouse space.

I did get another small collection in the mail yesterday that hopefully today I can start processing for a video sale. This collection includes stuff from a guy that went to the 1971 World Scout Jamboree.

No the Charlotte TOR is not this weekend! But I did go out and order replacement yard signs and a vinyl banner so we can put them out in front of the church. We had yard signs but they got lost in the shuffle. I took the advice of someone at the BSA Supply Group who said I should really emphasize the FREE ADMISSION to attract more foot traffic.

Almost every day through the end of the month I have auctions ending on my 5dollarpatchstore account. These are all neckerchiefs including many camp and event issues. For the last few days in my warehouse I’ve been prepping for a big run to the antique mall. With my impending move one goal is to get as much stuff racked and displayed at the Sleepy Poet Antique Mall so I don’t have to carry it with me.

it’s just me in the warehouse today with both of my part time employess off. Time to turn up the tunes and finish tagging a bunch of antique mall items. Then hopefully I’ll get to play with the new collection that just came in.
