Sea Scout Honor Society?
I got this from a friend of mine and thought it would be a good topic for a post in the Patchblanket forum so others could respond. He has listed an honor society patch for the Sea Scouts. It got me to thinking – are there other quasi-official honor organizations for Venture Scouts? I know that Venture Crews are not allowed to elect members into the OA. That little sticky point about having 14 year old females getting on the ballot ya know. So it looks like some people in the Sea Scouts have gotten around this by creating their own group.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
