Before the ball dropped the other night I completed the project of merging all of my eBay stores into one. I tried this experiment of having multiple stores to shuffle around some stale inventory. It worked! By the end of the year sales in those two other accounts made up 30% of my year end totals.

 

Tables for the Charlotte Trade-O-Ree are now available to rent! This year we are going online so that you can check out instantly like some of the council sponsored events are doing. I’ve set it all up through my Shopify Store. With this set up you can still mail a check if that’s your preference.

 

One of the sellers I follow online describes having multiple eBay stores as giving your self several part time jobs. You have shipping to do on each one, questions to answer, customer service etc. The mobile app is not set up to do that so you miss timely offers or notifications. It was in September that I kinda got burned out trying to run three accounts at the same time. My visit with an eBay growth adviser in October confirmed this was stealing traffic and sales from myself. So on Dec 31 I completed the “merger” and now going forward I just have the Patchblanket eBay Store on my Santeeswapper account.

 

I have 283 live auctions now that all of my efforts are concentrated on the Patchblanket Store. On of the things I’m doing in the new year is running more frequent sales in my store. eBay has changed the limits to make this more accommodating of a big store so I want to give it a try with separate weekday and weekend sales.
