Fantastic Texas OA Patch Trader Collection From the Late 1960s – Early 1970s

I can really relate to the Scouter who put this collection together more than 50 years ago. I too went to a National Jamboree and caught the patch bug. But he went to the 1969 Jambo a full twenty years before I went to my first event. Coming from TX his stuff was really desirable and he did a good job trading for patches from all over the country. But what might be most impressive about this collection is the neckerchiefs. There are dozens of them in the collection including camp, troop and event neckerchiefs from many councils.

If you have a collection that has been sitting like a time capsule in a closet for decades please reach out. I would love to hear your Scouting story and if you are ready….help you recycle these items back into Scouting.
