Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter February 11, 2022

It’s not always sunshine and rainbows when you are in this patch game. In the Hot Finds I enjoy sharing the journey with the readers. So I am likewise obligated to let you know when things go sideways. I did not get the collection.

Thankfully I had an old lodge brother Neal ride with me to go take a look at everything. A day’s drive up and in the morning we spent a few hours going through the house looking at everything. I probably ignored some warning signs along the way in my eagerness to get another score for the patch recycling business. But when it came time to talk numbers the people were at like 10X valuation of what I thought the collection was worth. Then it was time to walk away empty handed.

I have 301 live auctions on eBay that have a pretty good diversity between OA and shoulder strips. As always my Sunday night will be busy with about 100 listings coming to the end of their 7-day run.

In the warehouse today I am trying to wrap up a consignment project to get some good stuff listed. My little patch elves are working on sorting Jamboree stuff and RWS.
