Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter February 14, 2025
While driving in the car yesterday I snuck in the idea to my wife of attending the VA Beach TOR. I am sure many of you have done this with your Scouting events just kinda non nonchalantly saying oh yeah remember I have been talking about that TOR. 
We took 1/2 day at work to go see my daughter Sophia play her first ever collegiate Lacrosse game.
It was quite a trip! Sophia scored a goal in her first Lacrosse game of her life (she played Field Hockey all through high school). We got to eat at Yogi Bears Honey Fried Chicken in Hartsville, SC (a legendary greasy spoon). AND to top that off we swung over to Bishopville, SC to pick up a stray cat that we (well I) have agreed to bring home. This kitten was born a few houses down from my mom’s neighbor so I am bringing a piece of my old neighborhood home to Charlotte.
On eBay I have 236 live auctions running with many of those ending this weekend. This includes all manner of JSP sets, OA and much more!

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
