Helping To Find Her Uncle’s Scout Collection A New Home
I was contacted by the niece of a former Scouter regarding his Scouting memorabilia collection. Sadly he had passed but the family was looking for someone that would be interested in purchasing the collection and making sure that the items got back into the hands of a Scout. We texted pictures back and forth and made a deal so that I could help them recycle the memorabilia. When I got the box it weighted a whopping 31 pounds! It included some very interesting Canadian items. I think you will enjoy watching the video and seeing the history that I pull out of each bag.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
