Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter January 26, 2018

After taking apart a flap notebook that came home from the Dallas TOR I wrote a blog post on the BHP website. This picture shows 21 decayed vinyl pages that stand over three inches tall. As we speak I’ve got these things in a home made press made of Scout books trying to crush them down to a manageable size so I can put them out as a silent auction item at my TOR. Maybe I’m a little biased but I don’t like my patch pages to crackle.

Yesterday I took this picture of the JSP blind trade packages that have come in. Then in the afternoon when I hit my UPS store box there were another pair of packages with 80 more patches. It’s not too late to get in! The deadline is next Wednesday to get yours postmarked and I promise a quick return. This is for council issued Jamboree Shoulder Patches only of which most of us have stacks laying around. Click for details.

Today I have my first ever reorder on one of the Best Hobby Pages products coming in. It’s not like Amazon so when you run out of ink for your printer and with the click of a button it’s here the next day. This is a pallet with 10,000 envelopes to restock the shelves. Leading up to this summer’s NOAC TOR I have to make sure I’ve got plenty of everything.
