Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter February 26, 2017

If anybody wants to help me with some boxes Monday in Florence, SC especially send me an email. 🙂 Luckily I won’t have to retag all the books in the new spot because I am able to keep the same vendor ID with luck. However I will be using some new computer labels to retag all the uniform parts and miscellaneous stuff. That’s my job all day Tuesday and if needed Wednesday. So if you don’t see me hanging out on Facebook over the next few days you will understand why.

Essentially my new strategy is to use the booth as a clearance center. I probably have upwards of 200 uniform parts, hundreds of books, hatchets and other stuff that is hard to ship. So I’ll mark it down cheap there and run my own vintage Boy Scout store getting my inventory under control.

I will be bringing the most popular piece of my Florence store with me – the Dollar Box! I have a huge tub of $1 patches that you can dig through just like at a TOR and this has been my best seller by far. Sure it doesn’t pay the rent but I am pretty sure it becomes a destination for my repeat shoppers.

Well tonight is the moment of truth. I’ve got all the PA collection auctions ending in the wee hours including the t-shirts and all the paper items. You might want to set a few of those on your watch list just to see what the bidding does.
