Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter February 9, 2025

If you have not caught it yet on YouTube late this week I published my latest unboxing video. This one features a TX collection from a guy that attended the 1969 NJ and 1971 NOAC. He ended up with a slew of neckerchiefs in his collection and also quite a few nice OA issues. It’s a good one!

Friday I made a circuitous route to get to the Old North State TOR. I swung almost 100 miles east to look at a collection before driving up the middle of the state to look at a second. Both of the visits were with collectors who were ready to downsize and unload. Ironically both knew how to do eBay but just felt listing hundreds of patches on there was too time consuming.

After a quick bite to eat I made it to the TOR around 6 PM and brought in my stuff. Luckily, I had made some private deals before hand so I was already guaranteed to leave the show to the positive. This was also a good chance for me to remind folks about the Charlotte TOR coming up in 2 months. I got to fellowship with lots of the local collectors in the area and swap some tall tales.

Over on eBay I have 236 live auctions with a bunch of those ending tonight. This is also the last day of a broad sale I have been running on about 20k items in the store.
