Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter March 28, 2025
This morning I just published an unboxing video featuring a multi-generation Scouting family collection from St. Louis. The dad was a dedicated volunteer having earned the Silver Beaver and the Bronze Pelican.
We are 1 week away from the Charotte Trade-O-Ree on April 4-5. I visited with the troop that is running the concessions Tuesday and got everything ironed out. I hope for a good turnout of local follks as we have spent many months promoting. I’ve mailed out over 1,000 flyers to eBay customers and table renters to help get the word out. I hope if you are available we will see you in the Queen City that weekend.
On eBay I have 213 live auctions running on almost exclusively OA items. This includes a 395 Kowaunkamish piece pictured below that is undocumented in the Blue Book. Every once in a while I find something that I can’t ID and I love to just throw it up on eBay and see who wants it.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
