Georgia Storage Locker Picker Discovered A Boy Scout Collection and Called the Santeeswapper

I watch enough reselling YouTube to understand the game that storage locker pickers play. They bid mostly blindly on abandoned storage units and then try and recoup their money by piecing everything out. This is what happened recently when a picker in Georgia found a collection outside of Atlanta. With a little googling he found me and we exchanged pictures and phone calls. Despite the fact that some of the items were a bit “toasty” (watch the video!) I agreed to buy the lot and he promptly shipped me a priority mail box with more than 6 pounds of patches.

I’ve got some work to do on them now to get them freshened up but I guess that’s what I mean when I tell people that I recycle Scouting memorabilia. As a collector I appreciated these items and tried to do a little detective work on what the back story on these was. They may have been abandoned in a storage unit but at least now they have a chance to get back into collections.

If you have a Boy Scout memorabilia collection that needs a new home reach out….I might be able to help. You can shoot me an email or call / text to connect.
