With the help of an estate sale company in Oklahoma I was able to purchase this Eagle Scout collection and share it in the video. Truth be told the tipping point for me (pun intended) was the Scout sheath knife. Although in it’s current state it’s rusty and toasty….I know my friend Bill Chadek can work his magic and bring it back to life. I can’t wait to put together my next package to Bill and see that transformation.
The ribbon on the Eagle medal was a little frayed which is a bummer considering the collection includes the original coffin case. I love that some of the rank patches are of the very early designs for the BSA as this guy was born in 1919 so he did his Scouting in early 1930s.
There is also a bonus unboxing to kick off this video – I got a very generous gift. I dealt with a lady in California last month on her late husband’s Scouting memorabilia. She found additional items and sent them to me including a personal note. As she said in her note these items will now be appreciated.
I am always looking to new Scouting memorabilia collections to purchase. If you have one from your time in Scouting or that of a loved one please reach out.
