One fun thing we did in the class was a live unboxing of a collection that I had received before Christmas but never opened. The big priority mail box had been sitting on my shelf for months so I used my knife and cut it open at the end of class and then gave away some of the memorabilia inside to the attendees.
I want to thank Rick Stewart and Dan Matthews who shared their prepared PowerPoints with me. There are lots of ways to go with a class title like that but reading through those outlines helped me get my thoughts together.
Of course my closing pitch to these Scouters gathered in Columbia, SC was to invite them to attend the Charlotte TOR in about 3 weeks just an hour up the road. The admission is free so I asked them to bring their dens, patrols, or anybody else they could grab!
In March I’m launching 2-dozen CSPs up for auction every day and so far that has me sitting at 121 live auctions right now. These are first fun items that are fresh inventory for my store.
This week I have five different opportunities to promote the Charlotte TOR directly to people in the local council. Because I can’t be everywhere I’m drafting some help but with plenty of coffee mugs to give away the word will be shared. This effort includes a COH, troop meeting, 2 Round Tables and the Council Banquet.
