Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter March 10, 2024
Patch trading was alive and well in the dining hall of Camp Coker this weekend. I stuck to my word and only carried in a single briefcase. Now when it comes time to trade at conclave I’ll probably upgrade my spread but at least this was a fun time to hang with the boys.
There really are some exceptional auctions running this week. I am putting the Tenderfoot Bugler on my watch list along with some others.
My long drought of filming unboxing videos should be coming to an end soon. I’ve spent a good bit of time exploring all options and I believe I’ve got a solution. One of my new employees is very handy with Adobe Premiere which is a high end video editor software. I am hoping she can help me dive in and get some new ones edited and published soon.
I have 219 live auctions on eBay with about 1/2 of those ending tonight. These include lots of OA which has been a focus over ours in taking pictures the last few months.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
