Tuesday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter March 5, 2024
Tuesday I welcomed a Scouter from PA and his wife as they made a stop to sell me some stuff on their way to Myrtle Beach. Nothing amazing but he had gone to the 2001 Jamboree and his son went to the 2007 World Jamboree. Luckily the collection only had three mugs in it!
This weekend I’m headed back to Camp Coker for our Spring Fellowship. This is a conclave prep kinda weekend and I imagine there will be a little bit of patch trading. I just recently got a small Muscogee 221 collection in (which almost never happens) so I’ll bring that in my briefcase.
I may have already told this one but today I have to figure out what briefcase I’m going to bring my patches in. There is a renaissance in my lodge of the patch kids having briefcases and I have pledged to join their club this weekend. I’m going to have flashbacks to the late 1980s when I put this together.
On eBay I have 218 live auctions running on SAPs, OA, bolo ties, JSPs, events and more. See I told you guys I like to keep a lot of variety in these auctions to keep folks looking for more.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
