Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter March 12, 2023

I am getting home and on the Hot Finds publishing a little late today. I attended the Spring Inductions weekend for the new lodge born out of the merger of Santee and Muscogee. The attendance was very good and we welcomed over 50 new Ordeals into the lodge. I shared on Facebook this cool flap (above) that I got this weekend. This is the merger flap for Muscogee 221 its final issue. If you need one I have a few dupes left.

The new lodge issued it’s first flaps this weekend. There is a “standard” which was given to new ordeals and is the First Flap for the record. In addition, an O-B-V set was available that will be S2-S4. We could only get 3 of each at this time because of an issue with customs holding up the patches. But there are 2000 of each produced and we will have unrestricted access to buy more at conclave next month.

On the way home I did detour over to meet someone to look at a collection. This one was too heavily weighted with common CSPs for me so we couldn’t come to a deal. But I only lost about 40 minutes of time so it was worth the gamble.

I have some really good OA closing tonight on my OApatch account. Over on Santeeswapper dozens of auctions ending including many camp patches and WSJ.
