Saturday my project was stripping my office and packing away 5 years worth of accumulation. I need to take down the shelving so it doesn’t get sold with the house and we hope to stick a sign in the yard at the end of the week. The good news was I found a $1,000 OA flap while packing that I kinda had forgotten about.
This weekend is the finale for the Wetassa 227 R1 and the other OA patches that I promoted in the PDF Catalog a few days ago. This is an OA collection that was donated to a troop and the Scoutmaster is auctioning off the patches to raise money for the unit. Since the R1 is over $3000 as I write this I think they are going to get some new tents!
My Girl Scout troop is starting to work on God & Country with help from a pastor at our church. I grew up in a troop sponsored by an Air Force Base unit so it wasn’t an award I earned as a youth. I noticed there are some religious medals doing well on eBay this weekend.
My big sale this weekend on eBay is OA conclave patches. I have over 275 issues marked down 35% for the rest of the day. So far some folks have gone in and scooped up the $5 patches but nobody has really bitten on the more expensive pieces.
