Fantastic 1950s National OA Collection Boy Scout Unboxing
My favorite part of this story is that in the first few minutes of talking to the phone with the Scouter who I bought this from he told me his wife’s opinion….throw it away! You will see as I get into the unboxing what the issue is with the memorabilia that led her to say that. But I am soooo glad he took the time to research the items and contacted me to make a deal. His grandfather was active in the 1950s and attended several NOACs, a National Jamboree and a World Jamboree….WOW! He was an epic trader and his brag vest is among the coolest I have ever seen.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
