Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter April 21, 2023
After many weeks of prep, I am bringing my Shopify Store ScoutPatchHQ.com back online today. One reason many of you will want to visit today is that I’m now making available free PDF downloads of all my Prices Realized books. I got this idea from Chris Jensen who has also shared his books as free PDFs on his website.
I have also finally broken open the safe where I kept my deep dupes on my home lodge Santee 116 and made them available. Literally, I am not holding anything back. Anything I have a dupe on that isn’t already promised to someone is for sale as of this morning. The plan is to build out other lodges in the Carolinas so this store will also be my Trade-O-Ree stock that I take to the 1/2 dozen shows I attend each year.
On Santeeswapper I have 162 live auctions mostly on camp patches from across the country. I am continuing to also run auctions on OApatch where I have 71 auctions live including some more pieces from a strong California OA collection.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
